A MEMORABLE DAY OUT AT THE HAWK CONSERVANCY TRUST
Hawk Conservancy Trust Bird of Prey Centre的点评
点评：A proper day out; we felt rejuvenated by the end of our visit.
We got there for 10 am and started the day with a hot drink at the lovely "Feathers" restaurant. We then moved on to one of the vulture aviaries and were introduced to the birds, then listened to a talk about them and how the Conservancy are working with overseas agencies trying to improve the habitat of this endangered species of bird.
During the day we watched three flights of different birds interspersed with walks around the aviaries, eating lunch and enjoying the ambience before the end of our day out.
It was half term so there were lots of children around who seemed to be involved in activities designed by the Trust following various trails. It looked fun.
For us it was a good day out and a real boost to our spirits. Lovely staff, demonstrations and informative talks leading to lots to chat about on the way home.
