We attended the Sunset at the Trust event. We lucked out on such a beautiful evening, although I do believe it will be held despite the weather - unless it’s too extreme I assume. The event was split into two different displays in different areas - Savannah and Wildflower Meadow. The cafe was open before the first event, and during the break between them.
We were allowed to wander around the trust before the displays, and view all of the birds. The displays themselves were interesting and the employees were extremely knowledgeable and hilarious. They do have wild birds on site that will join the display - even if it’s not in their best interest. The best part was the final display whereby they allowed the four vultures, kites and storks to fly overhead while the sun set. It was breathtaking. A memorable and enjoyable experience. Plus it is a charity that works towards conserving birds in their natural environment, so everything you’re paying goes towards an honourable cause - it’s a guilt free event!
