Now I know what it feels like to ride in a clown car!

点评：I took my wife to the US Figure Skating Championships at the end of January for her birthday. I purchased good seats about 2/3 of the way up from the ice in one of the lower sections. The skating was great and thoroughly enjoyable. However, I was unable to sit with her the whole weekend as the leg room in the seat would not accommodate my 6'4" height. My legs were jammed up against the back of the seats in front of me and the heels of my feet could not touch the floor. It would have been impossible to sit for any length of time in that position and enjoy the performances.
I decided to head to the back of the section and stand to view the performances and leave my wife to see the competition in her purchased seat. Fortunately, an usher inquired as to my situation and after explaining my issue, he arranged for me to sit in the handicapped section whereby I could sit comfortably. Luckily, I was able to obtain seating in the handicapped section for all the sessions and I am most grateful for the assistance afforded me the arena staff.
I do find it incredulous that the designers of a sports venue would be so shortsighted.to.cram 18,500 seats in in a new facility when anyone who is at least six feet tall is going to be extremely uncomfortable!
