点评：Okay, seriously, if you're in Portimão, you have to check out this museum! It's housed inside an old sardine canning factory from the 1800s, and it's just so cool how they brought the history to life. It feels like a truly pleasant and interesting trip back in time.
The best part is walking right through the heart of the former factory. You get to see all the massive, original machinery and production lines used to can the sardines—that's what Portimão was famous for! They even pump in the atmospheric sound effects, like the loud, clanky factory noise, which makes the whole thing feel super immersive and a little wild. You really get a sense of how crucial this work was, and how hard everyone—including the women and children—worked back then.
Plus, it's not just sardines. They have cool stuff about old boats, underwater archaeology, and the earliest people who lived here. It’s really well put together and not boring at all. If you want to dive into the real identity of the city, this is the place. Total thumbs up from me—highly recommend
