Good wines, nice setting, good experience

点评：Nice setting overlooking Seneca Lake. We had a choice of a guided tasting indoors or a self-guided tasting indoors and chose the former. We shared the "Crisp & Cool" and "Rosés & Reds" flights.
We enjoyed all the wines, there wasn't a clunker in the bunch, but found that we enjoyed the second flight a bit more. The whites were fine, just not all that distinctive compared to other Finger Lakes wineries (although the Pinot Blanc and Gewurtztraminer were pretty darn good).
The second flight showed how far FLX wineries have come with reds. There was nothing too full-bodied here, but as our helpful server explained, with some that was in part due to the year in which they were made (2023 was rainy, so the grapes didn't develop as much sugar). We ended up taking home a bottle of the Rosé of Cabernet Franc, which was a bargain at $19.99.
We were lucky enough to come on a Sunday afternoon when there was an artist's reception in the adjoining room. That meant some free appetizers, but I did like the watercolors by local artist Kristin Malone.
Staff was friendly and all in all we had a very pleasant experience.
