We enjoyed our Haleakala Creamery tour even more than we anticipated.

点评：We wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Haleakala Creamery, Maui’s goat dairy and ice cream farm! I’ve seen lots of recommendations for Surfing Goat Dairy in various social media groups, but having done both tours, I would definitely recommend if the timing of this tour fits in with your schedule, you won’t want to miss it. They are a small family run business and only offer their 90 minute tours once a week on Friday mornings at 9:30 AM, which are limited to 12 guests. At the beginning of our tour, Rebecca served each guest a cup of their “goatlato” ice cream topped with their “farm to spoon” caramel. Each guest received a bag of treats to feed the goats (which they were VERY eager for), and also had an opportunity to hand milk goats. We were invited into the kitchen where they make their ice cream, goat cheese, skyr, and caramel sauces, while Rebecca explained the processes. At the end of the tour, each guest was given a goat cheese tasting plate to sample the products. At only $59/adult, we thought it was a great value and experience.
