点评：Reading the negative reviews on here filled us with some trepidation before we visited.
OK, some of the surroundings could do with a tidy up but the main objective of the place is to rehouse and provide sanctuary for animals that have been rescued from a life of cruelty and mistreatment.
We were impressed by the interactions of the staff with the animals, they are clearly loved and respected. The relationship between the animals and staff was abundantly evident.
The staff we spoke to, in the shop, around the eclosures were very polite and informative.
Improvements to seating etc are required but this is secondary to the welfare of the animals. Cages could be larger and tidier but overall we have to remember that without places like this the animals would either be in a much worse situation or even dead.
It is not a zoo or circus but a sanctuary and in that context it achieves it's objective.
We will return in the future and next time we will be laden with food and goodies for the animals.
