Amazing place, lovely staff
The Observatory Science Centre的点评
点评：An amazing day out all round.
We arrived just before 3pm and this wasn’t enough time!
On arrival you enter the gift shop and can buy tickets. Colin served us and was very inviting and polite. He gave us a map and explained the site. We bumped into Colin around the site and he was just as happy every time.
We had a tour where the observatory’s roof was opened and spun. Reuben led this and his knowledge was vast, he welcomed all questions. Tailored his explanation to those younger and older. Even if you’re not interested in telescopes you’ll be listening! The tour was informative and relaxed, would recommend.
We popped into the cafe and the lady who served was also lovely! A really good cup of tea and a range of pastries and snacks.
We are 22 and 58 years old and had a wonderful time. This place is suitable for small children up to adults.
On our way out we spoke to another member of staff who explained the site is able to be used for birthdays and even weddings. She also informed us that the staff work hard keeping the place running and have many roles within the site, and many are knowledgable about astronomy or physicists themselves.
