Underwhelmed, disorganised, hot luch missing in October

点评：The centre has great potential and a wonderful location. However I feel it is largely unutilised. I sent my children to a halfterm holiday club that included a bell boat ride and bushcraft skills (fire making and making a shelter). My children enjoyed, they enjoy pretty much anything, but I was very underwhelmed by the whole experience.
The bell boat did not set off until 10, and it started at 9, for the first hour kids were just sitting doing nothing, very disorganised morning (I was there until 10). At 10 the bell boat set off. When I collected my children later on I was told there was no fire as the wood was wet (dry logs could have been put in the storage beforehand), and shelter making only involved securing a piece of cloth to make a roof, no collecting logs, not teaching any proper building and survival skills as I had expected.
There was no warm lunch, no lunch at all, (and it wa ls 31 October), and I was told still it was a premium product because of the highly trained staff. I was told that the price is high (£35 per child) because of their overheads and the thousands of pounds the staff spent on getting licences. That is not a customer's concern. Unless there is warm lunch and good structure and organisation to the day, it is not a premium offering as far as I am concerned. And their offering had none of that. It is such a pity, with a bit of thought, preparation, organisation and some watm jacket potatoes, it could have been so much better. All in all, underwhelmed, not a good value for money.
