点评:One of Montreal's oldest roads is one of its best that you are likely to visit if you come to see Old Montreal. The street runs the length of Old Montreal just one block off the waterfront. Many of Montreal's best historic sites call the street its home address, including Bonsecours Market, Notre Dame de Bon Secours chapel, Place Jacques Cartier and Place Royal and the Old Customs House which are part of the archeology museum. In addition to historical sites, it is also the home to some of Old Montreal's best shopping and eating, so it is likely you will walk it at some time during your visit.
It is totally free to walk, and better, it is so easy as a good part of it is pedestrian only. We walked it during our day in Old Montreal including some shopping at perfume store and a lady's boutique. We started our walk after finishing Pointe-a-Calliere, the archeology museum, where we ate at Wolf and Workman. Our wives then shopped before we walked to visit Notre Dame de Bon Secours Chapel. It is a beautiful street that is simply fun to enjoy the French-Canadian architecture.
