Royal Botanical Gardens的点评
点评：We visited the Royal Botanical Garden en route between Niagara and Toronto
We didn’t appreciate it was spread across a few sites initially - which turned out to make it like visibly a range of gardens (plan accordingly) although we only visited the main site glasshouses, the Hendrie Park and the Laking Garden…
…These proved plenty enough to enjoyably fill a few hours and ranged from bed after bed of wonderful peony and iris (in a very refurbished looking site) at the Laking Gardens through to the lovely formal gardens with roses alums and a variety of flowering tress shrubs etc at the Hendrie
The main centre also held a nice little gift shop, a reasonable priced cafe, toilets and a nicely sized Mediterranean garden
I think if you wished to you could easily spend a day wandering around the various gardens which in mid June had plenty going on with other promise of more to come
Overall it was a nice place to visit with a variety of form colour and species, as well as various sculpture and art pieces
The Laking garden did seem a bit of windy track to get to it but just follow the sat nav; and we never did work out where the free car park there was or how to get to that either but ended up parking for about $3 in the one directly by Laking
Overall well recommended as a readable priced spread camper with hours of entertainment if you are botanically inclined or interested :)
