点评：My wife and I first visited Blue Spring State Park a couple of years ago and loved it so much that we made a return trip this year. We’re snowbirds from Indiana staying in the Orlando area, and this park is absolutely worth the drive.
Arriving early is key. For the 8:00 AM opening, plan to be there by 7:30 AM to avoid disappointment. One small tip for first-time visitors: the entry signage while lining up could be clearer. You’ll need to drive down the dirt road, make a U-turn, and then get in line—but once you’re in, everything changes.
The experience is truly unforgettable. Seeing manatees peacefully gathered in the crystal-clear spring water is awe-inspiring. The boardwalk is outstanding and offers incredible, up-close views while still respecting these gentle creatures in their natural habitat. It’s quiet, serene, and feels like stepping into another world.
We also enjoyed the surrounding wildlife and scenery and took some wonderful photos along the way. You can rent canoes and explore parts of the park from the water, which adds to the adventure.
What really stood out was how many people we met from Florida who return again and again, sometimes for days at a time, just to sit and watch the manatees. That says everything.
At just $5 per car, this park is an exceptional value and a must-see for anyone visiting Central Florida. If you’ve never been, put this at the top of your list—you won’t regret it
