First time on a horse. LOVED it.

点评：This was a really great experience for me as I've never been on a horse before (and I'm in my 50's).
Our guide (Haley) was really good and attentive to us (the humans) and them (the horses). Haley also made sure to give us clear instructions when we were going uphill and downhill and what to do while traversing around the paths. And our horses were just delightful as we got to learn their personalities while also learning about all the historic and ancient trees we passed by as well as a wealth of information on the National Park and National Forest.
Shout out to the rest of the staff at Grant Grove Stables. They've got this whole operation down like clockwork and also really good about making you feel comfortable with mounting and dismounting the horses. Also gave us clear and concise directions on how to steer the horses.
