点评:I struggle to understand how this dive is available to Open Water level divers as it is absolutely an overhead space. I dove with a dive company (American Pro Divers) on a Sunday in March. There were multiple schools holding classes underwater and there were so many people that visibility was less than 2 feet, not an exaggeration. I got to 38’ and as I faced the very dark cave entrance and turned on my dive light, I could see nothing but silt and algae. Our dive master said it was the worst she’d ever seen it. 3 out of 4 divers did not go any deeper because we just couldn’t see. The experience was truly terrible. Every underwater platform was taken up by a school holding classes, in some cases multiple groups. It was chaos. I cannot recommend this dive site for on a March weekend. I still cannot understand how this is not a cave dive. There is no light without the dive light you bring. None. Blackness. Blue Grotto needs to limit the number of divers allowed underwater at once and cap the number of classes being held to allow everyone to have a more enjoyable visit. You do need to understand that this feels very much like you are diving into a cave, because you are.
