A lovely little cafe in an idyllic location

点评：This is a review for the Riverside Cafe at Yarwell Mill Country Park.
I called in at this lovely little cafe on my way back home from London a few weeks ago. I wanted to have a break and take some photos. I spotted the cafe after parking nearby. I was lucky because the young lady working in the cafe (Hannah) was about to close. I was too late to order from the menu but no matter because she kindly made me an excellent coffee and I had a delicious homemade chocolate cookie......after I'd enjoyed an ice-cream! She was so nice and she showed me where the local walks were.
I relaxed on a bench right on the bank of the River Nene. Wow! .....what a beautiful, tranquil part of the country. I have rarely seen such clear water (with lots of fish clearly visible) and not seen such an abundance of other wildlife before. Absolutely idyllic.
I am so grateful that I chanced upon this amazing place and such a kind person working in the cafe. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you!!
