An Unforgettable Day Trip to Niagara Falls

点评：The Niagara Falls will definitely be the star of my Toronto stay. It’s absolutely worth the journey. Even if you have limited time, a day trip is highly recommended.
We did a day-long coach tour from Toronto and loved every minute of it. The beauty of the Falls itself makes the journey worthwhile, with the bonus of the other smaller attractions included in the tour making it outstanding. Our day began around 9 am from the Union Station, and the first stop was a winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Ice-wine for breakfast was incredibly ‘sweet’. It was my first with Ice-wine, and wow, it was love at first 'bite'.
The next stop was the breathtaking Niagara Falls itself. It's hard to describe the beauty of the falls in words. The pictures or videos are equally unflattering. It's got to be seen to be believed. My highlight was the boat ride. An absolute must if you’re visiting the falls. Up close and personal with the gigantic falls is not to be missed! Be prepared to get drenched (they provide ponchos), but totally worth it.
Finally, our day ended with a walking tour of the quaintly charming heritage district of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Whether you're travelling solo, as a couple, or with family, Niagara Falls makes for a perfect, memorable day trip. I would go again in a heartbeat!
