Amazing, Impressive and Awesome - Easy to See from Toronto Visit

点评：Simply said, Niagara Falls is one of the most amazing natural sites in North America that is a Must See for everyone on the continent. We had the chance to see it from Niagara Falls Parkway, Niagara City Cruises and Journey Behind the Falls and you can see all of my post there along with one for American and Horseshoe Falls.
Here I would like to tell you how you can see all of these things in a half-day from Toronto on a holiday weekend Saturday. To make this happen you will need your own transportation to control your schedule; however, we were able to do all the things above and still return to Toronto after lunch for a visit to Toronto Islands with our rental car. In addition to needing a vehicle, you will need to reserve items online before your visit. I recommend you visit the falls by boat and secure a spot on Niagara City Cruises. I also recommend you secure a time for Journey Behind the Falls and parking adjacent to the Table Rock VC online at Niagara Parks, both can be obtained at www.niagaraparks.com.
If you are staying in Downtown Toronto, you will need to leave between 6:15-6:30 AM to arrive at the Table Rock VC before 8:00 AM. Leaving early both reduces the amount of drive time on less crowded roads and allows you to see the falls before they get crowded. At that time, you can park close to the VC. We scheduled an 8:30 AM Niagara City Cruise which will provide you enough time to walk along the gorge rim from Table Rock to the cruise terminal with pictures along the way. The cruise is an hour long time slot with a 20 minute boat ride, so you will be back before 9:30. We then scheduled a 10:00 Journey Behind the Falls which gave us sufficient time to shop back at the cruises and still walk back to the Table Rock VC. Like Niagara City Cruises, the Journey Behind the Falls is impressive but it can be completed in 30 minutes. This gave us sufficient time to drive to Niagara Glen Nature Area at 11:00 for an hour hike in the gorge. We were then able to eat lunch (fast food Harvey's) and drive back to Toronto by 2:30 PM. I totally encourage you to build a Niagara experience that works for you, but this simply shows you can do it easily from a Toronto Visit.
There are more great things you could do in Niagara Falls, but I believe the cruise, walk along the rim and the journey to see the falls from below are the most amazing experiences and essential to any visit. If you plan properly before, you can totally see all of these amazing things in a half-day visit and still get back to Toronto to see great things there as well. Finally, plan to get wet, it's unavoidable.
