点评：Went in blind on this excursion as it was a last minute booking. My honest review from the good, the bad and the ugly.
The good: We were super lucky with great weather. Horses and wagon picked us up at the lodge and their location is very close to the lodge. They have a nice routine in getting everything in and everyone the opportunity to participate. Meeting and learning about the reindeer, how to correctly pan for gold and the keepsake gold souvenir was nice. Also, experiencing the weight of the moose antlers and moose kiss or hug was a clever photo op. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the animals and his love for the animals and helping people really showed through. He was very professional.
The bad: it really felt rushed to squeeze everything in. From the moment we got picked up, the wagon assistant ( I cannot remember her name) was very upset about the buses and spooking the horses which was understandable. But, how she handled it was very off-putting. I really enjoyed her knowledge about the plants, just not the extra unprofessional verbage. Reading this excursion has been dealing with busses and vehicles for years, the spooking should be taken care of. Maybe post a sign on the back of the wagon about the horses.
The ugly: I felt uncomfortable with the sarcasm and that took the excursion down a notch for me.
Overall, it was a fun interesting excursion that I would recommend.
