Quite a trip for quite a view!
Cape Meares Lighthouse的点评
点评：We decided to make the trek out here to Cape Meares a bit last minute after visiting Tillamook Creamery. It was quite an intensive trek getting up there truth be told. The drive to the Cape is one a very narrow stretch of road, to our right was tons of water and to the left was a massive rock wall. That lasted for about 30 minutes, and then you start going up and up and your stomach it a bit in nots due to the steep incline and tight turns.
Im from the south and my travel partner from the Midwest so needless to say this was not our usual. However, with that being said, we finally make it to the top. We park our car, and as you walk down this pathway under the trees we were greeted with an absolutely stunning view of the ocean. The lighthouse itself is quite tiny, what made it worth it was view in my opinion. Absolutely stunning.
