A gem great honey lovely shop cafe and exhibition

点评：What a lovely gem of a place. To set expectations think of this as a shop and cafe with a small exhibition attached. We were after some decent honey, not the watered down sugar syrup supermarket stuff. You can taste the honey and mead produced by buying a taster selection from the cafe, which I highly recommend.
The shop is well appointed with a number of other products in addition to the mead and honey. Next door is the cafe which is lovely and can cater for people with food allergies or intolerances. We had a great time with the honey taster selection, which lead to the purchase of much honey!
We did take a look around the exhibition for £11 (family of four), the four bee enclosures were very interesting, but the kids were really interested in the leaf cutter ants display, which was very good, and apparently only just coming in to its own this season. I agree that the videos are a little dated and hope they could replace with some home grown content (every ones a YouTuber these days), however I didn’t pay them much attention.
Overall we loved this place and its honey, all the staff were lovely, I’m glad they have a website shop as we’re not local!
