Elephant Village Sanctuary & Resort的点评
点评：Great place with some very happy and friendly elephants. The staff clearly loved the animals and the animals clearly loved the staff. Getting up close and personal, feeding and bathing the elephants was an experience. There were 2 young bull elephants chained by the foot which at first glance looked bad, but when you realise it was a safety issue(as male elephants are more aggressive than females and they were not trained properly yet), it was clear that the handler was there ensuring they were OK, making sure they had access to food and there were no signs of discomfort or harm to the animals. We got to feed them and interact with them too. No riding here(they used to, about 6 years ago).
A good half day trip, including a river trip to the local waterfall for a swim, great food for lunch included, feeding and interacting with the elephants and pick up and drop off from/at hotel was $59.00 US.
