点评:This would get a higher rating if we had use of a vehicle (although the roads are a bit hairy in places, so maybe it would get a lower rating) but when taking a taxi on top of the entrance fee, compared to how much time it's worth spending there, the value for money is not there.
It's definitely beautiful, and the smooth jazz soundtrack leads to a calming and meditative experience - once you get past the heat and humidity (it's in a sinkhole so once you go down there is not much chance of a breeze).
If you can cope with the heat and sweat, and are happy just to sit and chill or study the plant life in detail you could stay here for a while, but walking around it's not big and you will find yourself in the cafe within half an hour. We were lucky that there were no tours whilst we were there, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves - but I would worry that if there were tours it might get crowded quickly and affect the vibe.
They have their own rum made by Foursquare so I was pleased to pick up a bottle of that as a unique souvenir, and the cafe is a lovely place to sit and have a drink and a bit of cake.
