Good but food prices and hygiene concerns!

点评：York Maze itself was enjoyable, plenty for the Young one to do. But the food side was shocking. £4.25 for a unbuttered, dry, chip butty with only 18 chips — yes, I counted them out of sheer shock at how they can charge that price for what was received. A “large” hot chocolate was £4.10 and barely medium-sized. The portions are ridiculous for the money.
What really ruined it though was the hygiene. While waiting for food, a customer stood at the counter with both hands down his pants, fiddling with himself, then placed his hands all over the serving area. I was not the only one to witness this. Absolutely unacceptable in a place serving food.
For the price of entry, I expected much better. Until hygiene and food standards are properly addressed, York Maze will not be somewhere I’d return to eat
