Love this place - but be prepared for it to be busy!
强斯顿峡谷的点评
点评：A great place to go, with lots oam)f walk/hike options, but be prepared for it to be busy! I went early (arriving just after 8.00am), which made parking a lot easier, and the paved trail to lower and upper falls was nice and quiet, with some wonderful viewpoints along the way - make sure you go in the little cave by the waterfall!
This time, I decided to continue my hike on up to InkPots, which I'd heard so much about. This bit of the trail is very different - it's steep, woodland terrain (so very rocky/rooty and not paved), with some switchback points. But it does offer some more great views, on the way up, and once you get to the top - wow! The view includes river, mountain peaks, meadow areas and of course the inkpots themselves. It's nice to wander around and also sit and have a breather in the very fresh and peaceful air.
On the way down, that's when it got busy, especially when you hit the main canyon trail area, both in terms of people making their way back down, and people making their way up. Some sections moved slowly, some not at all, waiting for others to pass.
It's a very popular place to visit in the area, and I can see why, but be prepared for the amount of people. Early/later in the day is often quieter.
