Wonderful, worthwhile experience

点评：We were extremely excited to go on a nighttime bioluminescent kayaking adventure. Prior to the tour, we received a thorough safety orientation and a basic kayak paddling lesson. Karen, our guide, took the time to insure we could all get in and out of our kayaks; once on the water she helped us all improve our paddling skills.
Karen, was a wealth of knowledge about not only the dinoflagellates that create the sparkling lights in the water, but also about the constellations, about the tides, and of course about kayaking.
The density of bioluminescent on our trip was not super high. As we stirred the water we saw sparkles in the water, but there wasn't a bioluminescent trail. Our weather was clear and we enjoyed the stars, constellations and occasional shooting star. This experience is a wonderful, peaceful way to kayak safely at night, in awe of the nature's beauty.
Karen made this trip fun and enjoyable.
