Would not use The Blue Walk again

点评：Based on the reviews and descriptions I expected more. We received a 1 page itinerary after arriving. No welcome gathering or cocktail to help the group bone. Suzie and Jeanette were managing 2 different groups. We got Suzie and I was not impressed. They managed the transfers, lodging, and basic info but that is easy to do on your own if you have traveled. The “walks” did not start until 10 each day and were often just a walk around town pointing out restaurants and bathrooms. There was a longer one on our last day but again starting at 10 is wasting so much of the day. My sister and I left at 830 and had a great day but not with the group. No real information on the area, history shared by our leader. Luckily I have traveled a lot and am very independent so my sister and I made our own plan most days. Rapallo was very nice and Lake Como beautiful. My advice is if you are a confident traveler and really like to walk this is not the trip for you. The other reviews are excellent and that is why we chose this trip. I think having both Janette and Suzie together may have been a better way to run the tour. A walking tour should offer options for different levels with enthusiasm not discouragement which is the way the harder option was offered and you were on your own. Suzie checked the boxes, got us where we needed to be and then was gone. The people in our group were varied but with no real organized bonding time (welcome happy hour, maybe encourage group dinners, a list of names and where people are from) it took us all week to come together. We organized our own group dinner the last night. So. I can’t recommend this tour based on my experience. Would not tour with them again
