点评：We had an amazing experience with TukTuk Rental in Negombo!
We rented a tuk-tuk for 28 days, and the communication via WhatsApp went perfectly both before and during our trip. The team was very responsive and always found solutions to our requests.
The company took care of getting us our Sri Lankan driving permits before our arrival, so we were able to hit the road right away after a one-hour driving lesson on how to handle the tuk-tuk.
It’s even possible to request a driver if you’d like to take the train during your trip so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery — your tuk-tuk will be waiting for you at your destination!
We were two travelers with two 50L backpacks, two smaller backpacks, and a longboard bag on the roof. There’s a storage space behind the back seats, which is super practical, as it gives the passenger in the back plenty of room during the trip.
For us, it was an extraordinary and very enjoyable experience! It’s also a unique way to explore this beautiful island, as you have the freedom to stop wherever you want along the way to discover every little hidden corner.
As for driving, crossing Colombo is quite intense because of the traffic, but otherwise, the roads are pretty calm! Mountain driving is slower since the tuk-tuk is a small vehicle with a small engine, so climbing hills can be a bit tough—but definitely doable!
