点评：Our visit to the Liechtensteinklamm Gorge was well worth the effort. There was an hourly free bus from just a short walk from our hotel (Alpenland St Johann) to the entrance to the Liechtensteinklamm gorge. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the bus drop-off point to the gorge entrance. Good footwear is recommended.
The walk (with the iconic spiral walkway) is only about 1km in length, although the gorge itself is 4km long (and up to 300m deep) – thus making it one of the longest and deepest ravines in the Alps. Great photo opportunity spot at the end of the walk along with plenty of picnic tables.
There are toilets available at the far end of the carpark, a little bit further towards the gorge are two Alms for refreshments and a gift shop.
N.B. The Liechtensteinklamm Gorge is only accessible during the summer months.
