Magical Experience, But Missing Some Extra Spark This Year

点评：This was our second year on the Seaton Tramway Polar Express, and it was another magical experience! The actors were fantastic, and everything was so nicely done. The hot chocolate and cookie were absolutely delicious, and the kids loved the games on the way to the North Pole.
However, I did notice a few changes compared to last year. There seemed to be fewer elves, and the fun plate-spinning and other activities we enjoyed last year weren’t there. Sadly, the Hobo character, who added so much charm before, was also missing. Santa himself was great, though a bit slimmer this year—maybe a few more mince pies for the role would help! We also felt our time with Santa was a bit shorter than last year, which made the experience feel a little rushed.
The gift shop was lovely, as always, and we expected the higher prices, but we were disappointed that there wasn’t as much to do after visiting the shop and the North Pole. Last year, we loved the extra touches, like the Hobo, story telling, Santa sitting in the sleigh for photos, and having some time for the children to interact with the characters when we returned. This time, it was straight back onto the tram and out the door, which felt a little less special.
That said, the tram ride itself was wonderful, and the characters did an amazing job keeping everyone entertained. We’re so lucky to have something like this in Seaton—it’s a magical experience for the kids and families. While it was still a lot of fun, we missed those extra details that made last year feel truly complete.
