点评：I’ve visited Cape Town for business many times and had one memorable holiday driving the classic garden route and winelands days before 2020’s lockdown, but never seen the lesser-visited areas around Cape Town, especially those that lend themselves to various themes of photography away from the usual tourist sights. I contacted Peter only a few weeks before my latest visit and asked if he could arrange a couple of tours for me to visit specific areas which interested me. I was delighted that he was able to tailor these to my timing and needs.
Peter is a local with an intimate knowledge of the best local locations for photos covering a wide variety of genres. The tours were never rushed, allowing me to spend as much time as I needed to explore the options for shots in a location before moving to the next, but also flexible to make unanticipated stops for spur-of-the moment shots as opportunity arose. I spent the best part of 2 days in the company of Peter across the two separate sessions and he was always full of tips for the best positions in a location or ideas for pictures. His ability to design a tour to specific needs and most importantly pace it so that I felt I had explored a location as much as I wanted was, frankly, invaluable.
I came away with some great shots (I think) and more importantly experiences of places and people I could not have easily achieved either by myself or on a regular tourist itinerary. I thoroughly recommend Peter’s services for you next photo tour in the Cape and S.Africa.
