This castle is a great place to see including lunch taking the train, both towers, and the castle took me 3 hours to see

点评：Drachenburg castle starts at the bottom of a very tall hill and you can walk up or take the train which makes two stops. The first stop is the castle and a museum and the second stop is a castle ruin with restaurant below and a lookout over the towns with Bonn across the river and Cologne on the horizon. The views and food were very good and the old train a step back in time but well preserved. The museum had many gift selections and the details that went into restoration and preservation of the castle made one step back in time that you could imagine the grandeur and the life; they replicated the wallpaper, the stained glass, the furniture, the pictures with many details and artifacts with explanations to bring historical information that enhanced the experience. The castle also has a restaurant on the back side and I climbed the tower to get a great view, overall in my top ten castles of Germany
