OK, if you haven't seen similar houses before...
皇家新月楼1号博物馆的点评
点评：I was recommended to visit the recreated Georgian and Regency-era House no. 1 on Royal Crescent several times.
They've recreated the house well, decor and furnishings and household items all on display - but I was pretty disappointed by the lack of information about the actual house itself. Or about any of the specific items on display in the rooms.
Instead, there were lots of audio snippets from Jane Austen's works, which did help to set the context, but weren't really relevant to what you can see there!
You follow one trail around the house for the Gentleman's and Lady's private rooms, and then another downstairs to the Kitchen and scullery to see how the 'other half' lived.
The whole place can be seen in 30 minutes, but I didn't feel it lived up to the admission price. If you've seen Versailles in Paris, or other similar Georgian houses in Germany or France, or even the rooms of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, I'd probably skip seeing No. 1 in Bath.
