皇家新月楼1号博物馆的点评
点评：An interesting insight into life on the Royal Cresent in yesteryear. Displays were super and it was great to get a feel for the historical significance of this space as a home. Super storytelling. I loved the recorded tableaus. The view of the Cresent from the top floors was fantastic!
There was an odd encounter on the door though. I booked with a Blue Light concession and arrived ready with my card in evidence … but the member of staff on the door was quite abrupt and rude: “what are you? A nurse or something?” And there was no explanation of the timings/process of the recorded displays. I wandered through the house (very nice - enjoyed this) but latterly overheard the staff member at the door giving other guests a more thorough and careful explanation of how best to approach the house; I wish they’d given me half the info they gave the other incoming guests!
