点评：It's a beautiful theatre, but it goes downhill from there sadly.
Firstly, we were in the front row, and I know these seats are always sold as limited legroom/restricted view, but I've never been that close to the stage before. I could actually use the stage as a table for my drink (I didn't, but I could have).
On arrival I was shocked to discover that the bar doesn't open until 30 minutes before the performance. I think this is quite late, especially with my disability as I like to get to the theatre in plenty of time and recover from the journey before heading to the auditorium, and I wasn't able to do this.
Speaking of disabilities, I was shocked to see a sign on the disabled toilet that stated it was reserved as a priority for wheelchair users. Whilst I understand, of course, wheelchair users need to use the disabled toilet, so do a lot of people with other/hidden disabilities. A sign like this made me feel less important, even less disabled, and that's not the case. Maybe time to re-word your signs perhaps?
Finally our visit was marred by inconsiderate audience members. I know the theatre staff cannot really control this, but how about a little consideration to fellow audience members? If you insist on sucking sweets, don't do it in people's ear-holes. Blowing your nose, rustling packets and opening cans can all wait until the interval! And if you are going to get so drunk that you are going to be giggly at points during a WAR play, then maybe don't do that?! Sadly we had to leave during the second interval as the annoying noises and behaviours caused my daughter to experience sensory overwhelm. The inconsiderate actions of a few really ruined the trip for us.
