A Very Informative Experience
Herschel Museum of Astronomy的点评
点评：I spent a couple of days visiting Bath this week, and this was my first stop after checking into the hotel. I have always had an interest in astronomy, since childhood, so this place was a must to visit for me.
I was made to feel very welcome on arrival by the gentleman at the desk, who also gave me a brief introduction to the history of the Herschels and how they arrived at this house in Bath. It was clear he is passionate about the subject and this was very infectious. I was then informed of a QR code I could scan to access an audio guide and was left to explore the rest of the house at my leisure. Each room had a lot to offer and was overall a fascinating experience. I especially enjoyed being in the workshop room and seeing all the cracked flagstones, after hearing the interesting story behind them.
Before leaving I purchased a night photography book from the small shop area. As I was paying, the gentleman asked me about my plans for the rest of my time in Bath and offered some great tips for other things to see and do.
