Royal Troon Golf Club的点评
点评：Royal Troon is full of history and a must for a golfer.
A lovely warm welcome was received on check in, but more could have been done in terms of explaining what would happen between arriving and teeing off. Where to go, what will be given to you, practice facilities etc.
The starter was the star of the show. Really nice friendly guy and excellent at his job.
There appears to be nowhere to hit full shots before the nervous first tee shot which is disappointing, although the practice putting green is excellent as is the chipping green, there is also no bunker to practice from and you'll definitely be in one of the wonderfully deep fairway or green side bunkers when you get on the course.
The gift bag itself is nice, but opening it is a bit underwhelming with a few tees and your score card. Remember to get your course planner from the well stocked pro shop when you check in and receive a really nice engraved bag tags.
The course is fantastic, a proper challenge with a lot of memorable hole that you'd expect and hope for and is in perfect condition.
Please stay and have some food before or after your round. The food and service in the lounge was excellent and reasonably priced.
