点评:Thursday 13th January we visited the fishing village of El Golfo, which is located on the southwest coast of the Island.
It sits on the edge of Volcanes Natural Park which has been instrumental in the formation of the village and it's beach.
This is a review of the beach which stretches alongside of Avenida de Maritima. The name of the Beach is rather unclear, it could be Playa El Golfo, however, have gone with Playa del Passo, as per Google Maps, even though there is another beach along the coast with the same name as with El Golfo.
This is a small stretch of beach which is representative of the area, with black lava flow and rocks form the landscape, which encloses the beach with it black sand and stones and rocks.
This is not a tourist beach or attraction, there are no facilities here, including sunloungers and umbrellas. It is a small wild a rugged beach, lashed by the Atlantic Ocean, which compliments the village and it's environs.
