点评：I have visited museums all over the world, but St Fagans is truly in a league of its own. It doesn't just display history; it completely immerses you in it.
The concept is brilliant and beautifully executed. through the stunning grounds and encountering over 40 authentic historic buildings, painstakingly dismantled from all over Wales and reassembled here. It is like stepping through a time portal. The level of care, technical preservation, and craftsmanship on display is spectacular. From the ironworker cottages to the magnificent St Fagans Castle and the old schoolhouse, every single structure tells a vivid story of the people who lived and worked there.
The passion of the staff and volunteers shines through in every conversation. It’s incredibly family-friendly, beautifully spaced out, and offers an unmatched glimpse into Welsh social and architectural history.
The fact that entry to a world-class heritage site of this scale is free is astounding (you only pay for parking). Make sure you give yourself a full day here, as there is so much ground to cover. An absolute triumph of cultural preservation. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
