点评:Tokyo is a hectic and busy city, so i very much enjoyed my time at the Institute of Nature Study. It is well worth the 320YEN admission fee, if you are in the area. And i would say if you have an extended stay in Tokyo then definitely make the journey to Meguro to visit this place.
It is a calm and beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. I saw SO MANY different insects, butterflies and birds, (including the biggest butterfly i have EVER seen) it was wonderful.
I walked the entire park and spent around 1.5 hours in there, strolling at a nice pace.
A lot of the paths are accessible to wheelchair users and push chairs, although there are some paths that have steps.
I was given an English Language leaflet, with info about how the park came to be, upon entry.
Only downside, is that i was bitten a lot by mosquitoes!!! so, insect repellent is advisable.
NB: If you do visit here, then the Toyko Metropolitan Teien Art Gallery, which is right next door, is also worth visiting.
