点评：Located outside of Omarama by around 10km, these Clay Cliffs are a cool geological feature but once you’ve made the effort to get there it’s a bit of an anti-climax.
Well signposted, however once off the main road you have about 4 miles of gravel track to drive along. It’s very dusty, rattles your car and you need to be careful of other cars, camper vans or motorcycles coming the other way.
The car park is equally rough with a single notice board providing information. The track is obvious and pretty rough so wear decent footwear.
Once at the cliffs you can walk up in between them for a better look. Some media sites state you pay via an ‘honesty box’, honestly didn’t see one.
If you’re travelling north in the direction of Omarama, and you are about 3kms away, just look to your left and you’ll see the cliffs albeit just further away.
