点评：At the entrance there is an old map showing a cycling/walking tour around the saline. It starts with a 2km tarmaced stretch which then splits into a 12km gravel loop. So we opted for cycling. There are no no paper maps available at the entrance. So I took a photograph of the map displayed in addition to the Locus map on my phone. Along the route there are no signs showing where to go.
After the initial 2km we first went left (clockwise) but the cyclepath eventually just disappeared. Although I had a GPS map of the area on my phone, we could not find an easily cyclable way. So we decided to go back to the junction and try the other side as we had spotted some Flamingos in the very far distance and hoped to get closer.
Cycling the other side of the loop (counterclockwise) was initially ok. We went through a gate but very quickly the path got so overgrown that cycling became very difficult and we decided that this was no fun. A very determined cyclist could probably have continued through the more than kneehigh grass, but this is not what we expected from a nature reserve that charges an entrance fee all be it a modest €2.50.
So we did not get near the Flamingos and returned very sad that a lovely area is so neglected.
