点评:Unfortunately, this was not the experience we had in mind. Was excited to bring my 3.5 year old as trains are his life right now.. We got there in time to start with the trolley ride. It was my family and another family of 4 also with a young child and an infant. We had the ride to ourselves which I was excited about. We were asked to stay seated the entire time with no food or drink (although the let my mom on with a hot coffee).., all understandable and expected. The instructor was immediately not impressed with my son who naturally wanted to be on his knees to look out the window (had to be on his butt). He got up to go sit on the other side and just getting up to retrieve him I felt the glare. Both kids had the same toy train purchased from the gift shop that made noise. That was also an issue as it was clearly interrupting the information she was trying to get across on top of the already loud trolley we were sitting on. By the end of it myself and the dad of the other toddler were basically sumo wrestling out kids on our laps to prevent them from moving, which as any parent knows just irritates the child even more. On the other note. my mom LOVED it! This is great for adults and especially older folks who were around when these trollies were in use. Unfortunately, I got nothing out of it as I was hyper focused on making sure we didn't break any rules. It would have been easier if the guide was a bit more interactive with the kids or made the tour more kids friendly since that was why we were there after all. Overall, from the very little I saw it was a great place but not as kid friendly as it is portrayed. The $50 tickets for a 15, MAYBE 20 minute ride was a disappointment but if anything we were relieved to have it shorter than advertised. We were so afraid to do any wrong after we just left the campus.
