Cleeve Hill Golf Club的点评
点评：We needed a lunchtime pit stop and saw good reviews for the Cotswold cafe. That turned out to be closed so we tried the Golf Club. Frankly we would have just left but the car park is camera controlled and once you are in you have to pay. The golf club looks run down from the car park side and this is an accurate impression. Inside is scruffy and the toilets are pretty disgusting. None of which would have mattered too much if the food had been ok. We sat outside on the benches with a lovely view over the links. I ordered a bacon and Brie sandwich, my partner had a toasted tea cake. With two coffees just under £20 so not exactly cheap. My sandwich was a bap of the cheapest white bread. Plenty of Brie but the bacon was odd cubes and there was a strange chutney. Tasted most unpleasant and I left most of it. The toasted teacake was pronounced dry but edible. Overall not a pleasant experience and we will not be back. If all you want is a cup of coffee and a nice view you will be fine.
