点评:Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience.
The dives themselves were enjoyable, but we honestly didn’t see much marine life. We actually saw more fish while swimming in the sea near our hotel than we did during either of the dives.
I don’t yet have my Open Water certification, but despite having completed six previous dives (including dives down to 12 metres in another country), I was told I would only be allowed to dive between 3–5 metres. I completely understand that every dive centre has its own policies, but this wasn’t really explained to me. In fact, very little was explained at all regarding the equipment or the dive itself. Thankfully I had previous diving experience, because if this had been my first dive I would have felt very underprepared.
My partner is Open Water certified and completed a 20-metre dive with the rest of the group. After the dive he had a nosebleed, which I know can happen after diving, but none of the instructors checked whether he was okay. Another diver was repeatedly being sick after the dive, and again nobody asked if he was alright. Throughout the entire boat trip and the dive, the instructors barely interacted with any of the divers. The only real conversation we had was when it was time to pay.
The equipment also felt rushed. I was given a mask that was clearly too large for my face, which leaked throughout the dive. I’ve always had to use a children’s mask because I have a very small face, and I’ve never had this problem on any of my previous dives. I explained several times that the mask didn’t fit properly, but I was told it was because my hair was tied up in a bun. Considering I’d worn my hair exactly the same way on previous dives without any issues, I don’t believe that was the cause.
We were also disappointed by one of the instructor’s attitude towards my partner. He questioned whether my partner even had his Open Water certification simply because of the way he packed away his equipment. My partner packed it exactly as he’d been taught by other dive centres in different countries, so the comment felt unnecessary and quite rude.
Overall, the experience lacked communication, professionalism and customer care. While we still enjoyed being in the water, we left feeling disappointed by the service we received and, unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend this dive centre based on our experience
