点评：Promoted as one of the top spots to visit in Saltillo, this location, though offering great views of the city and its surroundings was a bit of a let down for us at this time. Upon arriving at the location we saw a staircase to the platform on which the tower itself is located, which would provide an easier, and logical, access to people on foot. However having climbed the steps i turned the staircase was closed off by provisional railings. No warning of this was given at the foot of the stairs, which would be very easy. So we had to go up along the street on a sidewalk which might be hazardous for less fleetfooted people. I imagine this is a conscious decision taken to make people go by the promontory form which one has a first panorama. As the main viewpoint is a mere few meters higher in elevation this does not make any real sense though. Furthermore the front of this viewpoint is starting to decay with the concrete walk beginning to go down, which I imagine might put people in harm's way in the future. Especially if lots of people gather at that very spot. Once we made it all the way around the mound it turned out that the tower itself was closed. Initially a bit of a let down, but again climbing this tower would not have made much difference as the view would not have been very different in my opinion. Since the location is reportedly opened until 11 PM, something like an astronomical observatory might have been more appropriate at that location instead.
