点评：This was beyond our expectations! We didn’t take a drone and thought we might be idle while others flew theirs. But our group was small and none had their drones. Davis was engaging, adaptable, chill, and very helpful. From information about the tour to personal conversation, he was exceptional - and truly interested in us having a good time. He even showed us pics of the ice caves over the last few weeks to show the changes. We visited 1st week of Sept and though windy in the open, it was 10 Celsius on the glacier. I wore jeans and it was just fine. Didn’t even need my gloves. If it was a rainy day, I would’ve needed my waterproof pants along with my waterproof cover jacket. Definitely needed waterproof boots. We went deeep into a cave as far as we could - crawling! No pressure to do so, though. Such scenery, colors, contrast and incredible perspective on the volcano and the glacier. The black beach was like none other…and watching a humpback whale swim along the beach 30 feet offshore breaching as it ate was just icing on the cake! This is one we want our grandkids to experience!
