Fantastic experiences, well worth a visit!
Colchester Zoo的点评
点评：My partner and I booked 2 keeper shadowing experiences at the zoo for our anniversary, and ended up spending the whole day exploring! The Hyena experience with Kate was amazing and super informative, followed by a wonderful Elephant experience with Ryan where we got to provide enrichment and a snack to the elephants.
We used the app to navigate around, and this was very helpful as the zoo is very large. There are some steep areas, so it was a long day of walking but there are a lot of benches to rest at. The enclosures themselves are some of the best we’ve seen, even if we didn’t see the animal out in them. There are plenty of good stops and toilets around, and the gift shop is *massive* with lots to look at. There is also a lot of information on the animals and conservation effort.
Overall, this is one of the best zoos we’ve visited. The price we paid for 2 shadowing experiences included entry and also coupons for food/drink and the gift shop. Value for money-wise, this is definitely well worth the cost, and we’d 100% return if we’re in the area.
