Unpleasant and Rude
St. Enodoc Golf Course的点评
点评：I have Stayed in the area near St Endoch Golf Club for the last 30 years and always enjoyed walking through the golf course.
Today was the only day we have ever ventured into the Pro shop and I purchased a Taylormade Golf Cap priced at £25.00.
Upon leaving the shop my wife asked me if we were able to purchase a drink in the club house and sit on the terrace, the Sun was shining and the terrace was near empty so without hesitation I replied, yes.
We approached a vacant table and my wife took a seat so I went to the bar where I was told someone will come to our table and take the order.
When I returned to our table the gentleman who would be taking the order was in attendance and asked if I had been out playing golf on the course which politely answer no only to told that this is a members only terrace/bar and you can NOT have s drink.
Now I didn’t mention the fact that I had just spent £25.00 in the shop nor did i challenge him but I can say I am a member of a established Golf Club in the North West, Antrobus Golf Club where everyone is welcome ,walkers/bikers etc.
I understand the protocol on giving members the full use of all facilities but I don’t understand that on a Saturday in September when the Clubhouse & terrace are near empty is being refused to take a refreshing drink and taking in the view.
I will NOT be returning any time soon, clearly some Golf Clubs are still stuck in the past.
