Wonderful day ruined by a staff member shouting at me and my 4year old

I took my son who is aged 4 years old with additional learning needs to Dynamic Earth today. The staff in the planetarium and science areas were engaging and friendly and we had a wonderful day. However when we were leaving we went to the cafe and he played on the cycle bike that is in the cafe area. We had bought items in the cafe and spent nearly £10 on two small ice cream tubs so it’s not like we hadn’t purchased items. I was supervising him and at no point was his hand on the chain of the bike. A female staff member came over and shouted “you can’t play with that” at him. I was shocked and she then turned to me in a confrontational manner and said “he can’t be on that , his hands are on the chain”. He was understandably upset and she again repeated it at me in a raised and aggressive voice with him listening. I took him away quickly. There are no signs on the bike saying children can’t be on it and I was supervising him the entire time. Once we left he got very upset about it and kept asking why the lady had shouted at him and mummy. Whilst I understand if it wasn’t for children to interact with then staff have to raise this to parents ( perhaps signage indicating this would be helpful ) the aggressive manner she spoke to him in was completely unacceptable and spoiled what had been a lovely day. It’s put me off returning to the centre or recommending it to any other families.
