点评:Central London, up to Zone 2, remains vibrant, full of shops, parks, and culture. Concerts, shows, musicals, bars, theatre! However, as soon as you move away from the central zones, a different reality becomes apparent. There are areas with visible signs of poverty and hardship, a side of London you won’t often find in travel guides, but one that definitely exists.
One of the highlights of our trip was the show “TINA – The Tina Turner Musical” in the West End. If you love Tina Turner’s music or simply want to experience a powerful and inspiring life story, this show is a must.
Hyde Park, as always, is a breath of fresh air — perfect for a walk, a picnic, or a bike ride around the lake.
For steak (and meat lovers), make sure to visit BlackLock in Soho.
The Underground is very convenient and easy. You can now move around without tickets or cards, just by using your phone and an app like Revolut (on your phone).
Overall, London remains a destination worth visiting, for a few days, as long as you know where to go and are ready to spend quite a bit to truly enjoy it.
